We are so very excited to be the owners of the Paint Cellar. Our family, Mike, Jenny, and Sophia, are approaching this as a family adventure, and cannot wait to see where this takes us. We have been in the education world for over 30 years combined, and feel that this is a perfect pairing for our skills. We look forward to meeting each and every one of our guests and are so excited to offer some new classes, which will include some crafty projects and DIY nights, as well as some kid focused classes. Please come see us soon!!
I am Susan. I have loved art since I could color stacks of coloring books as a child. In
primary school my favorite thing was art. Same with middle school and High School. I
would get in trouble for not paying attention and doodling. So, off to University of WI.
Madison I went to achieve my degree in textile design. Upon graduation I packed my car
and moved to L.A. where I worked as a textile designer. This took me on business trips to
various mills on the East Coast where I met my husband in Logan Int. Airport. He lived
in Alaska! Off to Alaska I went. The culture and beauty in Alaska captured my artistic
desires even more. I began teaching and painting.
Now I live in Centennial Colorado with my husband and have 2 daughters and a son-in-
law. I adore them all and continue to have the privilege of teaching my passion, painting.
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”
